Hucknall Flight Test Museum is a non-profit making registered charity (1175731). We are dedicated to promoting an interest in STEM subjects with a particular reference to the physics of propulsion within a broader flight related STEM programme. Online booking terms and conditions
- All visitor bookings are made on the basis of a discretionary visitor donation to the HUFTM charity, which is run entirely by unpaid volunteers. HUFTM relies solely upon public donations to remain in operation and we therefore respectfully ask visitors to take this into account when booking a visit.
- We are open to visitors every Wednesday and Saturday between April 1st and Oct 31st each year.
- The museum is closed in the winter months, nominally between November 1st and April 1st to mitigate against excessive energy running costs. These dates may vary slightly dependant upon prevailing ambient temperatures. Please see our Social Media and Website News pages for the latest updates on closing dates.
- Due to unforeseen circumstances, we may not always be able to admit you on the day that you have booked for. If this situation arises we will do our best to contact you in advance to rearrange your booking.
- You may be asked to provide proof of booking to gain admission. This includes your booking confirmation email.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- We reserve the right to refuse the entry of any visitor to the site for any stated reason.
- Please advise our visits co-ordinator by email at time of booking, if you have limited mobility, require 1 or more carers and/or have any specific needs. We will endeavour to accommodate your requirements to the best of our ability and resources. Please let us know in advance if you need access to our disabled parking spaces.
- With the exception of dogs assisting the visually impaired, no animals are permitted inside of the buildings
- We do not permit the use of professional cameras, video recorders or any form of audio-visual recordings unless prior written permission has been granted. Taking and storing images of other visitors without their consent is not permitted.
- Smaller groups may be conjoined with other groups at the same visit to make a volunteer tour economically viable for the HUFTM charity.
