There is ample car parking space on site adjacent to the HUFTM reception building.
It’s photography permitted?
Due to recent visitor abuse of social media publication permissions, photography is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN within the Wing Hangar museum building, in order to protect our intellectual property copyright. Personal photography is permitted on site outside of the Wing Hangars, but MUST NOT BE TAKEN WITH ANY OF THE ADJACENT ITP SITE TO THE SOUTH, in the background. Customers are advised that the taking and storing of images of other visitors, without their consent, is illegal and not permitted.
Can we use a drone to take aerial photographs of the HUFTM site?
The use of Drones on the site by visitors is strictly forbidden except by detailed and specific special circumstances prior arrangement with HUFTM management.
Is there a café?
Unfortunately we do not have a café on site at this time. Beverages are however available to all visitors for a small additional donation.
Visiting with children?
HUFTM welcomes children of all ages, and we offer a learning quiz and an RC Flight Simulator experience for younger visitors… which is very popular.
In accordance with our child protection, safeguarding and health & safety policies, children under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
HUFTM is a donations only entry arrangement and a suggested donation of £5.00 for children under 16’s has been set by the Charity trustees as a fair market reflection of our museum offer. Children under 3 are free.
Can I bring a carer?
A carer or personal assistant is free of charge when accompanying a paying visitor. Please bring ID with you, such as your PIP letter or staff ID if visiting with an organisation. Please inform our bookings co-ordinator when you email huftmbooking@gmx.com to book, and we will be happy to discuss your exact needs in respect of this.
Are pets allowed on the HUFTM site?
Dogs and other pets are not allowed in the Wing Hangar museum or reception buildings and must not be left unattended and kept under control on leads at all times elsewhere on the site. Please ensure you bring a supply of water and scoop bags with you.
Can I bring an assistance dog?
Assistance/guide dogs are allowed in the museum and reception buildings but must not be left unattended and should be kept on the lead at all times. Please ensure you bring a supply of water and scoop bags with you.
Do you offer guided tours for schools and groups?
We offer guided tours to all visitors, in particular groups, please inform our bookings co-ordinator of your requirements when you email huftmbooking@gmx.com to book.
How much is admission to the museum?
We do not formally charge for entrance to the museum and operate on a donations only basis. All donations from visitors are therefore vital to keep the project financially viable. We respectfully suggest a guide donation of £10.00 per visitor is a fair reflection of current aviation museum admission charges in the UK.
